This property is a charming, modern spacious cottage located in the well known village of Thornham, a pretty coastal village on the famous North Norfolk coast between Hunstanton and Brancaster. Having let the property to holiday makers since 2000 Forsell Holiday Homes have consistently invested in improving the property. In 2007 the kitchen and bathroom were completely updated and replaced. In 2009 a Flat Screen/Satellite TV System were installed along with all new doors and windows throughout the property. The property now has French doors leading from the lounge diner onto the rear patio and gardens .In 2010 free BT Wi Fi was installed for guests use. In 2011 a power shower was installed over the bath,new landing carpets laid and the downstairs hall way tiled in limestone ceramic tiles. The landing and hall ways were also painted The property benefits in holding the English Tourism’s Council 4 star quality award. It is equipped with all the modern facilities to make one's stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Sleeping up to 6 in comfort, the cottage has its own extensive courtyard gardens which are found to the front/rear and side of the property. The cottage also has its own garage and backs on to a quiet cul-de-sac which is for the sole use of other properties in the Malthouse Court complex. The gardens are all secured by lockable gates ensuring safety for small children.

With the RSPB Titchwell Bird Reserve only ½ mile away, the cottage is near safe sandy beaches and many other places of interest including Holkham Hall, Sandringham and Burnham Market. Restaurants and cosy pubs serving an abundance of fresh seafood and local produce can be found in many of the local villages. In Thornham there are 4 very good eating establishments including the Lifeboat, the Orange Tree, the Coach House and the Deli.

The village also has facilities for purchasing basic foodstuffs and a hair dressers. More extensive shopping facilities can be found in Hunstanton which is 5 miles away and which has a splendid new Tesco supermarket.

The property is managed by a Property Management Company who provide key collection/cleaning/welcome packs etc. They also provide certain emergency services during your stay should any unforeseen events occur. Further details are available on request.

Cottage details

Bedrooms:

One double bedded/One twin bedded and One adult size bunk bedded. The two largest have their own built in wardrobes.

Bathroom:

New fully tiled bathroom with bath and power shower over/toilet and washbasin. A heated towel rail and wall mounted fan heater. Halogen ceiling lights.

Kitchen:

Fully equipped including dishwasher/fridge freezer/electric cooker and oven/washer/dryer/ microwave. There is an extensive inventory of cutlery/crockery and other cooking utensils. The units were all replaced in 2007 with under unit lighting and halogen ceiling spots. Iron and ironing board provided.

Hall/Downstairs Cloakroom:

Spacious tiled hall area with separate downstairs toilet and washbasin.

Lounge/Diner:

Large room with Satellite TV(FreeSat) /CD stereo/ 3 seater sofa/3 easy chairs/ and working open fire place. There is also a dining area containing an extendable dining table and 6 chairs with French doors leading to the rear patio garden.Free Wi Fi

Heating:

Night storage heaters in all rooms except kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen and Bathroom have wall mounted fan heaters. 2 portable oil fired radiators also available.

Gardens:

Paved gardens to the rear, side and front of the property with borders containing a variety of shrubs and plants. There is also a modern garden patio set comprising table and 4 chairs. A barbeque is also available for guests use.

Car Parking:

The cottage has its own single garage with an additional parking space in front. The Malthouse complex does also have additional communal parking.

Linen and Towels:

Provided and changed weekly and included in weekly rates. Beach towels are not provided.

Cot and Hire Chair:

Available within the cottage at no charge

Beach:

Approximately 10 minutes drive away.

Golf:

Approximately 10 minutes drive away.

Transport:

Own car advised.  excellent Coastal bus route(Hunstanton to Cromer) with bus stop outside Malthouse Court.

Bird watching:

RSPB Titchwell is 3 minutes drive from the cottage - 20 minute walk.

Restaurants:

Five good eating establishments are within the village and are within easy walking distance of the cottage.

Shops:

Hunstanton and Burnham Market provide good shopping facilities.
